Napoli, ADL and Ancelotti were very foolish to barely play him and then let him go, especially as they then left themselves without a holding midfielder. Had he remained,,Napoli would have had a more balanced team, be higher up the league, and Carlo could well have still been at the club. He's a perfect fit for Roma, and given how young their side is, they are only going to get stronger and so is he.

He is better than before go to juventus. He got less chance to play.

First of all he lost his footing when hitting that clearance. Secondly, the state of the pitch in the penalty area was shocking - there has been heavy rainfall in Genoa. And finally, he should never have gone to Juve in the first place because Buffon was still the number when Perin joined the club. Not only that, Perin was coming off the back of two cruciate ligament injuries. Prior to those injuries he was looking like being Italy's number 2 keeper and possibly challenging Donnarruma for the jersey. He has never truly recovered from those injuries - both mentally and physically, and when he returned to training, Szczesny had established himself as Juve's number 1. With regular playing time, I'm confident that he can get back to his best levels. I hope so.
