I understand that Roma dominated the game statistically. But as a Roma fan, Verona's second goal worried me . The way Verona opened up Roma so easily on the counter attack, was concerning. And this coming from a team that was nearly relegated. But I'm going to cut Roma a bit of slack. Mourinho's absence, Dybala and Pellegrini's first match of the year , only match day 2 etc, etc. Next week against Milan will tell me if we are the real deal.

Roma have no leadership, I see players on the field insulting each other over a bad pass. They are playing like individuals, throwing their hands up on a bad play like they are above the team unit. Mancini, Karlsdorp, Peligrini all guilty. Maybe the lack of leadership has to do with Mourinho not being on the sidelines... maybe.

Jose Mourinho is a "fairplay" coach. He immediately put Lukaku on the field after a Verona player was booked a red card to keep the match level at 10 vs 10.

Una vez más el sensacionalismo fue puesto en su lugar porque algunos asumieron equivocadamente que la AS Roma era un candidato para ganar la Serie A y creo que aún no cuenta con el nivel necesario que le permita obtener ese título.
