Don't forget, his aggresive running to get back the ball from the opponents. He never wait, he went back to help defence to get back the ball. And then... He so FAIR.. He never dive or cheat the referee to get the advantage. He will confront the referee if referee gave the penalty to his team when he felt not being fouled by his opponent 👍👍👍

2009 was such a sad time, as a Milan fan Maldini retired then arguably among the best midfielders in Nedved retired. People say he didn't deserve the ballon d'or in 2003 but this guy was so key in the Juventus team that year.

Zinedine Zidane may be a maestro who ever play for Juve too. But, he has not have what Pavel Nedved can do. Aggressive, tireless stamina, powerful shooting, running back, fair play, and so kindly to both his partners and opponents. His loyalty too... He never left Juve although Juve must been relegated in 2006. He ends his career in Juve, and because his loyalty & commitment- he become Vice President for Juve. BRAVO, PAVEL NEDVED 👍👍👍

I'm too young to know about Nedved. Out of said ignorance, I've also claimed that Henry should have won the Ballon D'Or instead of this "nobody" (let's be honest, Nedved is very much a forgotten player) especially considering that it's this Juve side that got flagged for cheating. Any recommendations on some of his best performances to educate myself? In big games preferably to see how he compares to the best

That's right.. he made an aggresive to get back the ball from Real Madrid player but unlucky for him that referee gave him the yellow card after it. If not, may be he can participate in FINAL versus AC Milan and won that match. Juve cannot won because there was no Pavel as ATTACK CREATOR MACHINE to through AC Milan defence. May be will no penalty shootout if Pavel played. Juve will won in 90 minutes match, because in that season AC Milan cannot beat Juve in league when Pavel play for Juve. Although Gattuso in right side, he cannot stop movement of Pavel to create the attack into Milan defence.
