It doesn't matter if the handball is intentional or not. Handball is a handball. According to your logic there would be no penalties given in most cases because 99%of the time players have no intention to touch the ball with their hand. The header was also going on goal, clear penalty. @@tvsik9741

Amen! PL, no competent ref would call jimenez's great defensive play a penalty nor look the other way on the hand ball at the end by the Atalanta player. Seen CL as well as PL games where that is hand ball every time. You literally have defenders playing with their hands tied behind their backs to avoid a penalty, especially at the end of a close game.

Duh, most are saying here, jimenez pushed the ball away cleanly and the other player took a dive into jimenez's leg after jimenez tapped/kicked, cleared the ball. The guy was embarassed by a rookie, so he did the next best thing: he took a perfect 10 swan dive!

Watch this episode on 0,25 speed. It is obvious, that defender even didn't touch the ball, it means that the ball was under the Miranchuk control. If if there was no defender leg, Miranchuk would pass him as as standing.

Refs should be evaluated by the higher-[ups. You need to be told when you make a mistake, otherwise, why improve? All you are doing is breeding incompetence and players and the game suffer. Actually, all refs should be evaluated sfter each match, but especially ones who make poor calls.

Might have something to do with all defenders being injured, milan played 3 at back with 1 cb and two full backs. Then Gabbia the cb got injured and milan had to chose their last senior defender kjear who havent played much this season

That first goal by Atalanta was, to their credit, well deserved, especially after Milan's goal just before that. (Milan let their guard down to the max; too much celebration. Game was not over yet.) Milan had three defenders in front of the goal keeper. Not one of them was marking closely. If you are not marking, then get out of the way so the goal keeper can see the ball. This game, at the very least, should have ended in a tie or a Milan win. Jimenez, no penalty, no honest ref would call that a foul with jimenez out racing his man to the ball. To save his embarassed skin, so his coach doesn't chew him out later, the Atalanta player sells his swan dive after crashing down on jimenez's leg. It should have been the highlight of the game as the best, outstanding defensive play. The hand ball at the end, another sign of incompetence. Ref should be chewed up by the referee powers at be and sent back to ref school.

Watch the replay again and see how the Atalanta player crashes into jimenez's leg as jimenez clears the ball first touch. The Atalanta player was just embarassed being beatened, so he fell on jimenez's leg as he literally dived like a submarine.
