De Rossi Starting at the beginning of the season would not make any difference. The thing that de rossi had working for him is that he came in when the regular players (Pellegrini, Smalling, spinazolla, dybala) just recovered from their injuries. It gave the team a jolt. He was not doing anything special that made it look like he was better than Mourinho. Now reality has set in.

Mourinho wasn't the problem. He was the solution. Only if the management had given him the time and resources. Mou took Roma to successive European finals. i think that's it for Roma, now their Champions ticket next season were no longer at their own hands.. only if either Atalanta somehow failed to secure 5th position or La Dea beating Leverkusen to get their first European trophy in Europa final that Roma could still get through. i've written about Roma's football under De Rossi a few weeks ago n it came true in no time, don't get me wrong since i do enjoy their attacking football but as i mentioned before De Rossi need to improve their simple n easily predicted strategy.. now their honeymoon is officially over.

@@nguyenngoctoan8884I think you’ll find it does this season - Serie A has been given an extra CL spot. Atalanta currently sit in 5th place. If they win the EL they automatically go into the CL. 6th place will technically become 5th spot…assuming Atalanta finish 5th in the league.

To me fair, I mosty blame Giroud He is a second striker that needs a mobile forward which Milan lack. Atalanta also has wingbacks instead of wingers so he has more space out wide unlike at Milan The system at Atalanta suits him much better with players like Keupmeiners to play off
